DEGW ha collaborato con Sanofi, branch italiana del gruppo farmaceutico globale, in un progetto integrato nato dalla volontà di modificare il modello organizzativo dell’attività lavorativa.

Il progetto di rinnovamento degli spazi – aperti, flessibili, pensati per favorire la collaborazione e l’interazione tra team – rappresenta un’opportunità per ripensare le modalità di lavoro, i comportamenti e le abitudini.

La società ha scelto di rimanere all’interno del distretto direzionale di Milano Bodio Center, recentemente rinnovato per diventare sempre più flessibile, vivace e piacevole da vivere.

Sanofi ha scelto di rinnovare gli spazi di lavoro in un ambiente agile, orientato al work-life balance, dove le persone lavorano in modalità mista in smart working e in presenza, pensato per stimolare a lavorare in maniera sempre più flessibile e sempre meno vincolata alla scrivania fissa.

È stato quindi introdotto un alto livello di sharing (40%) con postazioni libere, non assegnate, distribuite integralmente in open space. La zona co-working centrale è composta di scrivanie dalle forme diverse. All’interno della library sono state previste postazioni silent, dove non si possono utilizzare i device mobili e la voce alta. Le informal meeting, con tavoli alti o bassi, divani, pouf e poltroncine, sono creati per favorire interazione informali tra colleghi in un ambiente rilassato in cui collaborare, trovare ispirazione o semplicemente lavorare in una modalità diversa dalla classica scrivania.

Distribuiti su tutta la superficie i chat sofa – divani-alcove, leggermente insonorizzati per incontri informali – e le 17 piccole stanze chiuse tra phone booth e focus room.

Le aree break non sono isolate ma integrate nello spazio funzionale e flessibile. Il quarto e ultimo piano è quello più rappresentativo del progetto: qui si trovano per esempio lo spazio reception votato all’accoglienza, la caffetteria, una grande sala riunione e le terrazze esterne di 1140 mq attrezzate da DEGW con pergole, salottini, varie composizioni di arredo. Della stretta integrazione tra spazi di lavoro e verde fa parte anche la scelta di dedicare parte della superficie esterna agli orti curati dai dipendenti.

Gli arredi, alcuni con verde integrato, sono stati tutti disegnati su misura da DEGW per conformarsi alla perfezione al variegato paesaggio lavorativo di Sanofi. Infine, nell’adeguamento degli impianti i lavori effettuati sono stati fondamentali per garantire il massimo comfort ambientale alle persone in tutti gli spazi a disposizione.

DEGW worked together with Sanofi, the Italian branch of the global pharmaceutical group, on an integrated project that was born from the company’s desire to modify the organizational model of its business.

The renewal project for the spaces – open, flexible, designed to encourage teams to collaborate and interact – represented an opportunity to rethink work methods, behaviors and attitudes.

The company chose to remain within Milan’s Bodio Center business park, which was recently redeveloped to become even more flexible, dynamic and enjoyable.

Sanofi opted to renovate the workspaces into an agile work environment, oriented towards a good work-life balance, where people work according to a hybrid work model incorporating a mix of remote and in-office work, designed to stimulate people to work in an increasingly flexible manner and less and less bound to a fixed desk.

A high level of desk sharing (40%) was therefore introduced, with unassigned workstations distributed entirely within an open plan arrangement. The central co-working area comprises desks of varying shapes. There are silent work spaces in the library, where you can’t use your mobile devices or a loud voice. The informal meeting rooms, with their high and low tables, sofas, poufs and armchairs, have been designed to encourage informal interactions between colleagues in a relaxed setting, where they can collaborate, find inspiration or simply work in a manner other than from a classic desk.

The premises are dotted with chat sofas, which are slightly sound insulated for informal meetings, and with the 17 small closed rooms providing phone booths and focus rooms.

Instead of being isolated, the break areas are integrated into the functional and flexible space. The fourth and final floor is the one that best represents the project: here you’ll find, for example, the reception area, the cafeteria, a large meeting room and 1,140 sq m of outdoor terraces, fitted by DEGW with pergolas, small sitting areas and various furniture arrangements. The close integration of workspaces with greenery is evident in the company’s decision to dedicate a section of the outdoor area to gardens that are tended to by the employees.

All the furnishings, including those with integrated greenery, have been custom-designed by DEGW to conform perfectly to Sanofi’s varied working landscape. Finally, the works carried out to upgrade the building systems were fundamental in ensuring the maximum environmental comfort for people in all the available spaces.
